It was after a day of visiting spots from Armin and Shilo Tupaz’s favourite romantic film, Serendipity, that Armin popped the question. In 2010, the duo visited New York City when Armin proposed in Central Park.
They dated for five years before they tied the knot at a traditional meets modern-themed wedding on October 28, 2011. The ceremony was held at Cristo Rei Parish in Mississauga, Ont., and the reception was located at the Mississauga Grand.
Shilo and Armin’s wedding showcased their cultural traditions with a modern touch, while also incorporating the fall season and Halloween into their day. They put together a quarterly e-zine for their family and friends to keep up-to-date with their wedding planning.
The couple chose When You Know by Shawn Colvin, from the Serendipity soundtrack, as their wedding song.
